~ Yiouvarlakia is Avgolemono soup with meatballs.
~ The soup is prepared and made exactly to the Avgolemono recipe.

  • ~ Ingredients for the meatballs:
  •  
  • ~ 1/2 a kilo of minced meat
  • ~ 1/2 a cup of rice
  • ~ 1/2 a cup of flour
  • ~ 1 egg
  • ~ 1 small onion finely chopped
  • ~ 1/4 cup of finely chopped parsley
  • ~ 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
  • ~ Salt and pepper to taste
   

 

~ Place the minced meat into a bowl with the rest of the ingredients and knead well for all the ingredients to mix well.
~  After kneading and mixing all the ingredients, make your mixture in small balls and add them to your broth and rice to cook.
~ You can make the meatballs as small or as big as you prefer.
~ When serving Yiouvarlakia place in each plate served 4-5 meatballs.
